Is the Biblical God doing some favoritism in allowing only a few people through history to hear the gospel and receive a chance to be saved? This book contains three answers by three authors (all three agree that salvation is only possible through the sacrifice of Christ and the grace of God, none is pluralist or universalist):
  • inclusivism: God will give the unevangelized a chance to be saved in accordance to their response to whatever "light" they received during their life (J. Sanders)
  • Divine perseverance: God will arrange for the unevangelized to hear the gospel after their death and then have a chance for salvation (G. Fackre)
  • restrictivism: God will not give the unevangelized any chance to be saved (R. H. Nash)
